2027 St. Thomas Pledge Campign

Dear members and friends of St. Thomas:
“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” — Jeremiah 29:11
As the St. Thomas Episcopal Church 2027 Stewardship Campaign begins, we do so grounded in this powerful promise from Scripture. God assures us that our future is filled with hope, purpose, and possibility. This year’s campaign invites each of us to participate in shaping that future for St. Thomas.
The stewardship centers on the three essential pillars of Christian commitment: Time, Talent, and Treasure. Each represents a meaningful way we respond to God’s call and support the mission and ministry of St. Thomas.
Time reflects our presence: our willingness to serve, worship, learn, and support one another. Talent represents the unique gifts God has given each of us: skills in teaching, music, hospitality, administration, technology, caregiving, and countless other areas. Treasure provides the financial foundation that sustains our ministries, maintains our facilities, and enables us to plan confidently for the future.
This year, St. Thomas is committed to improving the efficiency of our operations through thoughtful cost‑saving initiatives. St. Thomas is actively reviewing energy usage, streamlining administrative processes, consolidating service contracts, and expanding volunteer‑led efforts. These steps ensure that every contribution — whether of time, talent, or treasure — is used wisely and effectively to strengthen our ministry and support the mission of St. Thomas.
The success of the St. Thomas Episcopal Church 2027 Stewardship Campaign is monumentally significant. A strong pledge response this year will lay the essential groundwork for establishing a viable clergy position and various staff positions. This fiscal goal will profoundly shape our future, allowing us to expand and enhance our ministries, deepen our outreach, strengthen pastoral care, and grow in faith and community with our new pastoral leadership.
We ask you to prayerfully consider your Stewardship pledge for 2027. Your financial commitment, regardless of size, makes a meaningful difference. When we join in faith and generosity, we become instruments of God’s hopeful future for St. Thomas.
If you have questions or would like to discuss your pledge, please contact Dave Buchholz, Valerie Scaggs or Deacon Karen.
Thank you for your continued faithfulness, generosity, and dedication. May we move forward together with confidence, trusting in God’s promise of hope for St. Thomas.
With gratitude and blessings,
Valerie Scaggs David Buchholz
